Brentwood Academy 2025
The Patton Foundation hosted its 2nd highly anticipated “Shark Tank”-style Entrepreneurial Grant Challenge at Brentwood Academy, where three winners were awarded grants to fuel their innovative business ideas.
First Place was awarded to Haven AI, an AI-powered onboarding and insight assistant designed to transform how families, educators, and therapists understand and support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By providing meaningful insights and guidance, Haven AI helps create more informed, compassionate care environments.
Second Place went to FrontPorch, an app that connects busy adults with teens seeking flexible, short-term work. What sets FrontPorch apart is its community-based system, where users join secure groups tied to real communities such as schools, churches, or neighborhoods, creating built-in trust. More than just a job platform, FrontPorch is a tool for strengthening local connections.
Third Place was awarded to Voxara, an innovative software that converts natural language into structured layers within a video editor, simplifying and streamlining the video creation process for creators of all levels.
Each finalist had 10 minutes to pitch their business concept to a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs, followed by a five-minute Q&A session. The Patton Foundation Entrepreneurial Challenge supports aspiring young entrepreneurs with access to workshops, coaching, and networking opportunities, inspiring Tennessee’s youth to build entrepreneurial skills and innovate within their communities.
