A Simple Spark

Jasmine Williamson’s entrepreneurial journey started quite organically—with intimate tea parties she hosted at home alongside her daughter. These early moments revealed a passion for creating warm, memorable experiences that brought people together. This spark grew into Tea Rose, a luxury mobile tea party business where Jasmine curates elegant, personalized tea party experiences in people’s homes and at various venues, elevating simple gatherings into moments of connection and celebration.s.

Holding Fast to Purpose

The entrepreneurial path has been far from smooth. Jasmine openly acknowledges the emotional and financial ups and downs that come with running a business. She sees resilience as crucial—knowing why you started keeps you grounded. Many entrepreneurs lose sight of their why or don’t have a strong enough foundation, leading them to quit. For Jasmine, staying deeply connected to her purpose—the joy of creating meaningful, luxurious experiences—has helped her persevere through the toughest moments.

Keep Going, Keep Growing

Jasmine encourages anyone pursuing their passion to remember that success doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a journey that requires patience, determination, and faith. When you feel that deep calling, lean into it wholeheartedly and commit to the work ahead. Every challenge and every step is part of creating something meaningful and lasting.

If this is what’s in your heart to do, then trust it and put in the work.
— Jasmine Williamson
  • Hello, my name is Jasmine Williamson. I am the Chief Leaf and Executive Experience Curator for Tea Rose. Tea Rose is a luxury mobile tea party business. We go to different venues and people's homes to create luxury tea party experiences.

I began my entrepreneurial journey by doing tea parties at home with my daughter. Our early success came from a lot of face-to-face marketing. When we began—of course, it was post-COVID—people just wanted to get out of the house. We found tremendous success in vendor markets by being able to speak to people directly, as well as showcase what we could do and how that experience helps guests stay connected to the people they love and want to share a luxurious moment with.

Success is based on what you determine is important to you and to your business. I think some entrepreneurs get caught up in what they see on social media and think that because they're not at that point yet, they have to quit.

But it takes a lot of grit. It takes tenacity. It takes being able to deal with the financial ups and downs, as well as the mental and emotional toll that running a business can bring.

That's why some succeed and some fail, unfortunately. They either fall out of love with their why or aren't grounded enough in it—along with all the things it takes to truly keep going.

It is a long process. It is an ever-changing process. But just know: if this is what's in your heart to do, then trust it—and put in the work.
